365 Days to become a millionaire

Who I am

My name is Andrea D'Asaro, I was born in Pisa on 2 November 1976 and since October 1993 I have been working almost without interruption, devoting most of my time and energy to work.

Since September 2018 I have been living with my Miniature Bull Terrier Aria, my life companion who warms my heart: an explosion of joy, relaxation and emotions.

Today I have decided to put myself to the test with an unusual challenge: trying to become a millionaire in 365 days through voluntary donations from people who freely choose to support my project.

Why this challenge? Because, after so many years of work, my dream is to achieve financial freedom, stop working continuously and live off my income, finally being able to devote more time to my life, my passions and new experiences.

I don't want to promise guaranteed results or tell a story made up at a desk. I want to openly share an ambitious goal and document the journey, letting the facts speak for themselves.

A personal goal, a public challenge and the chance to turn part of the result into something useful for others.

Whatever the amount raised, it will be a success: every euro going to volunteering will allow us, together, to do good for those who need it most.

365 days to give it a try

This is where the countdown begins. I will have 365 days to try to reach my goal, thanks to the voluntary donations of those who want to take part.

Every contribution will be completely free: everyone will decide independently whether to donate and how much, with no obligation and no promise of profit or economic advantage in return.

During these 365 days I will report on how the fundraising evolves, share the initiatives I carry out and document the experiences I live. I want this site to become an open space where you can follow the project, find out what's new and interact directly with me.

Half of the donations will go to a project chosen by you

This initiative is not meant to be just the story of a personal dream. I want it to leave a positive mark too.

At the end of the 365 days, 50% of the donations raised will go to a volunteer project chosen by the community, according to the reporting and allocation procedures that will be published in advance.

During the fundraising I will present several volunteer projects, including those proposed by users. It will then be the people following my challenge who vote for the project they consider most deserving of financial support.

The project that receives the most votes will be the one selected to receive the share set aside for volunteering.

This means that the more the fundraising grows, the larger the sum available to help the winning project.

My dream will be personal, but part of the result will be entrusted to your choice.

Transparency: every step must be verifiable

Trust is not just asked for: it is earned by showing seriousness and clarity.

That is why the initiative will come with regular updates on the fundraising, statements of the sums received, details of any fees and information on where the funds go.

I want to allow anyone to check, within the limits of the applicable law and the protection of personal data, that what is declared matches what is actually done.

The voting rules, the criteria for selecting the projects and the available documentation on the transfer of the share set aside for volunteering will also be published.

I'm not asking you to believe everything without asking questions. I invite you to follow the journey, get informed and judge the facts.

By following this page you will be able to watch the project evolve day by day, learn about the initiatives I carry out during the fundraising and discover the volunteer projects that will be candidates.

You will be able to propose new initiatives, take part in the votes, leave comments, ask me questions and interact directly with me.

You can contribute financially or simply follow the journey and share the project with other people. Every form of participation will be free and voluntary.

I don't know what the final result will be. I only know that I want to try, telling this experience with transparency and without hiding the difficulties.
